SOFTWARE

Efficient operation of warehouse automation systems requires reliable software. Thanks to our internally developed standards, you can rely on solutions enabling swift integration and startup of control systems.

Our individual approach and experience in a wide range of industries enables us to undertake unusual tasks and dedicated layouts.

We are able to customise applications for the unusual nodes and functions that are required for a project. We have standard interfaces for data exchange with WMS, ERP and machine systems, as well as extensive experience in building new connections.

Professional WCS/MFC information system for warehouse automation operation

The software is developed using Microsoft NET technology. The user communicates with the system using a web browser. This allows quick access from anywhere in the warehouse, without having to install dedicated software on desktop computers. Access is also possible using mobile devices such as tablets and phones.

LS WCS is integrated with any ERP that uses REST APIs. All data exchange with the ERP takes place in real-time mode. This means always up-to-date data in the WCS and ERP.

The LS MFC is used for direct communication with the storage automation. The LS MFC transmits the execution orders received from the LS WCS to the automation. The LS WCS receives the orders to execute from the ERP system.

LS MFC, with the mediation of LS WCS, informs the ERP system of the load on the individual zones in the warehouse. On the basis of this information, the WMS can automatically make the appropriate decisions to start or stop warehouse processes so that the entire system runs smoothly, taking into account the dynamically changing situation in the warehouse.

It is possible for warehouse automation (e.g. container stacker cranes) to work as a so-called blackbox for the ERP system. In this version, the ERP (in this case the WMS) transmits an order to accept a container into the automated warehouse. The LS WCS itself selects the optimum storage location for the container and performs the entire storage operation without the involvement of the WMS. Similarly, when the WMS receives an order to release the goods, the LS WCS itself finds the container with the appropriate goods in the warehouse and autonomously performs the operation of releasing the container from the stacker crane.

Data exchange between LS WCS and ERP is bi-directional, in real-time mode.

LS WCS records all automation operations and events in a database. Various reports are generated from this data, allowing correct business decisions to be made.

Several dashboards are available to the maintenance department, showing the current (and historical) operating status of the automation. An active SCADA visualisation of the entire automation system is also available.
